Farm laws will not be rolled back, amendment may be considered

New Delhi: There are constant talks between the government and farmer organizations regarding agriculture laws. Actually, till now the two sides have held talks about five times, but so far no solution has been revealed. Recently, farmers' organizations have announced Bharat Bandh on December 8.

Farmers has been demanding to withdraw all the three agricultural laws till now, but in the meantime the government has also stated in clear terms that the agricultural laws will not be withdrawn, but if necessary, the government will amend the amendment according to the demands of the farmers. Recently Union Minister of State for Agriculture Kailash Chaudhary said, 'The laws passed by the government give freedom to the farmers. We have always said that farmers should have the right to sell their crops wherever they want. Even the Swaminathan Commission has recommended it in its report. I do not think the laws should be withdrawn. If necessary, some amendments will be made in the law according to the demands of the farmers.

Let us tell you that the protest against the agricultural laws has been going on for 11 days and the next round of talks between the government and the farmers will also be held on 9 December. Well, now it is going to be quite interesting to see what results and what happens in this conversation.
