Big debate on 'Common Civil Code' on 23 November, to be brainstormed in three sessions

New Delhi: A big debate is going to start in the country to implement a law for the Common Civil Code, ie, a law for all religion people. There will be a brainstorm on this issue in three sessions between 10 am and 4 am on November 23 at the Constitution Club here. Many Union ministers, MPs, retired judges and legalists and social workers will participate in it.

The special thing is that all religious, Hindu, Muslim, Sikh and Christian religions will be represented in the event. The theme of this seminar organized by the Indian Voters' Association is' Indian Civil Code: A Common Civil Law for All Indians'. In the first session, Union Minister Giriraj Singh, Rajya Sabha member and former Union Minister K.J. Alphonse, Retired Judge of the apex court P.C. Pant, former Chief Justice of Patna High Court S.A. Ansari, former Attorney General Mohan Parasaran, government's Under-Attorney General Aman Lekhi and human rights activist Nis Hassan will mainly participate in the discussion.

Similarly in the second session, Union Minister General V.K. Singh, MP and former Union Minister Satyapal Singh, former Attorney General of the Government of India, Keshav Parasaran, Justice Z.U. Khan, Shia Central Waqf Board chief Syed Wasim Rizvi, etc. will discuss the objectives related to the Uniform Civil Code. In the third session, senior leader of the union, Indresh Kumar, retired Supreme Court Judge A.K. Sikri, MP Manoj Tiwari, Zafar Sareshwala will also discuss every aspect of it, including the needs of the Common Civil Code.
