Government transferred 18 thousand crores in farmers' accounts, Here's how to check account balance

New Delhi: Due to the lockdown in Corona virus epidemic, the government has announced to provide relief amount to crores of people of the country. The most important of these are the farmers of the country. The central government has transferred money to the bank account of 9.13 crore farmers under the Prime Minister Kisan Samman Yojana (PM-KISAN Scheme). 

Amid the lockdown, the central government is giving free rations to poor families. Along with this, assistance amount is being given to Mahila Jan Dhan Bank accounts at the rate of Rs. 500 per month. In such a situation, the government has also taken special care of the farmers. According to the media report, the central government has added Rs 18,253 crore to the account of 9.13 crore farmers under the PM-KISAN scheme. In this regard, the Finance Ministry has also shared information with the general public through a tweet.
