Wednesday, Union Minister Jitendra Singh claimed that there has been rise in complaints against IAS and IPS officers in the past three years. Singh said in a written reply in Lok Sabha that, 342 complaints were received aligned with IAS officers and 132 against IPS officers during 2015-16. 333 and 118 complaints were received against IAS and IPS officers respectively in 2014-15, said Singh, Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions. During 2013-14, the Centre had received 246 and 89 complaints against IAS and IPS officers, he said, without giving details of the plaints.
