Group Captain Sachin Tendulkar joins Air Force Day celebrations, arrives at Hindon Airbase

New Delhi: On the occasion of Indian Air Force Day, celebrations are being held at Hindon Airbase of Ghaziabad. Air Force aircraft are showing their strength in the sky on this occasion, on Tuesday, many guests including the Chief of the Air Force, the Chief of Army Staff attended. Former cricketer and group captain (honorary) Sachin Tendulkar in the Airforce also attended the event.

Sachin Tendulkar arrived at Hindon Airbase on Tuesday morning and attended the function organized here. During this time he also met Air Force officials. Sachin has been participating in Air Force celebrations and big events before this, apart from this he has also been seen meeting with Air Force personnel many times. Please tell that Sachin Tendulkar was awarded an honorary title of Group Captain on behalf of the Air Force in the year 2010.

On the occasion of 87th Air Force Day, many personalities including President Ram Nath Kovind, PM Narendra Modi, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh congratulated the Air Force and saluted the bravery of the soldiers. The air force of this time is also special because today the Air Force is going to get the French fighter aircraft Rafael. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has reached France to receive this Rafale fighter jet.
