Gandhinagar: The Gujarat government has signed several MoUs last Monday attracting a proposed investment of about Rs 25,000 crore under the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit-2022. The conference is scheduled to begin on January 10 and is scheduled to be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In a series of events that will sign the MoU for the conference, 19 companies have expressed their willingness to invest Rs 24,185 crore in various sectors of Gujarat. Indo Asia Copper Limited is among the companies that signed the MOU. The company is going to invest Rs 8,500 crore for a copper smelter plant and fertilizer complex in Ningala village of Rajula Taluka of Amreli district of the state. In addition, Kiri Industries, Meghmani Group and Colourtex India have also signed a Memorandum of Understanding for Investment. Kiri Industries has issued an investment proposal of Rs 2,900 crore, Meghmani Rs 2,600 crore and Colourtex Rs 2,000 crore. Meanwhile, Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel was also present.
