Actor and BJP MP Sunny Deol finally breaks his silence on farmers' protest

New Delhi: The agitation of farmers of many states including Haryana, Punjab and other states is continuing for the 12th day against the new agricultural laws of the Center. Meanwhile, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP and actor Sunny Deol said that he believes that the central government always thinks about the interest of farmers and he hopes that the government will reach the right end by talking to the farmers on the new agricultural laws.

Thousands of farmers, who have been opposing the new agricultural laws of the Modi government, have been standing on all the borders of Delhi since 26 November. Agitating farmers are worried that the new laws will destroy the minimum support price (MSP) and procurement system and mandi system, which ensures the income of various stakeholders related to the agricultural sector. Deol issued a statement on Twitter on Sunday evening saying that the matter is between the farmers and the government, but he knows that many people want to benefit from this movement and they are putting obstacles.

BJP MP from Gurdaspur Sunny Deol said in a statement, 'I stand with my party and farmers and will always be with farmers. Our government always thinks of the betterment of farmers and I am sure that the government will ensure the right outcome after holding talks with farmers."
