Gurugram: A woman was allegedly raped at a mall in Gurugram, adjoining the national capital, police said on Sunday. It is alleged that the 27-year-old woman was brought to the car parking lot of the mall and then raped there. According to the police, the woman, an engineering graduate, was called to the mall by the accused on the pretext of giving her a job. The woman was raped on the pretext of an interview. It is also said that the woman was given intoxicating drinks mixed with water. According to the complaint lodged at the women's police station, the victim was looking for an online job. During this time, she came in contact with a young man named Tushar Sharma. Tushar had promised to provide a job to the victim. On Saturday( February 11), Tushar called up the victim and told her that an interview was to be held at Sahara Mall. The woman reached the mall at around 1 pm. Here the woman met Tushar. He took the young woman to the basement of the mall. Here the accused gave water to the victim to drink. After drinking water, the girl started fainting. The victim told the police that Tushar then made her sit in his car and raped her. He also threatened to kill her if she told anyone about this. After this, he left her there. After receiving the complaint, the police took the woman to the hospital for a medical test. Tushar Sharma has been booked under sections 328, 376, and 506 of the IPC.
