New Delhi: Hackers are targeting the official Twitter accounts of India's famous institution, the government portal. The official Twitter account of the University Grants Commission (UGC) India was hacked by hackers in the wee hours of Sunday. This is the country's third major Twitter account in just two days, which has been targeted by hackers. The hacker has hacked the official Twitter account of UGC and made several tweets. Along with this, a cartoon has been installed by changing the profile pick of UGC. Hackers tagged hundreds of Twitter users, posting a series of tweets one after the other. The account hacker has pinned a tweet on the account, which read, "To commemorate the appearance of the Beanz official collection, we have opened an airdrop for all active NFT businessmen in the community for the next 24 hours. Claim your Beanz. Welcome to the garden." Earlier, the accounts of the UP CM's office and the India Meteorological Department were hacked. The account of the Uttar Pradesh CM's office was hacked for about 29 minutes. Due to this, hackers deleted many tweets from the account. The account was later recovered back. Earlier on Saturday, the Meteorological Department's Twitter account was restored. It was hacked by hackers for more than 2 hours. After the hack, the hackers started trading NFT on it.
