Today is the birthday of Dhirubhai Ambani, who is said to be the most common man of the country and the foundation of Reliance Industries in India. He was born on 28 December in Junagadh district of Saurashtra. His full name was Dhirajlal Hirachand Ambani. In his childhood, he has lived in very poverty. After high school, he had to leave his studies due to lack of money. In the early times, Dhirubhai Ambani had to sell 'Bhajia' in Junagadh to run his family. His work did not do much and after that, he had to leave this job. Then his father advised him to do the job. After this Dhirubhai Ambani obeyed his father and then he reached his elder brother in Yemen and he worked at a petrol pump for a salary of 300 rupees. In the year 1950, the freedom struggle broke out in Yemen and hence Dhirubhai Ambani returned back to India. After coming to India, he along with his cousin Champaklal Damani started the business of spices and polyester yarn. He named it Reliance Commercial Corporation and this was the first step from where Reliance started its existence. Inside Dhirubhai Ambani, the art of running a business was filled. On July 6, 2002, he said goodbye to the world.
