Nawab of Bollywood Saif Ali Khan of the popular Nawabi family is celebrating his 50th birthday today. He has worked in many Bollywood films which have been hits. Saif is the son of Bollywood's very beautiful actress Sharmila Tagore and cricketer Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi. He started his career with the film 'Parampara' and after that he appeared in many films. He worked in films like Mein Anari Tu Khiladi, Parineeta, Na Tum Jano Na Hum, Dil Chahta Hai, Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein, Hum Tum, Salaam Namaste, Cocktail, Tara Rum Pum, Nehle Pe Dehla, Love Aaj Kal, Race etc. He was well liked in all these films. Talking about Saif's personal life, he first married Bollywood actress Amrita Singh.
Saif and Amrita's first meeting was during the shooting of the film 'Bekhudi'. Saif was seen with Kajol in this film. Amrita was 12 years older than Saif, but he married Amrita in 1991 against his parents. When Amrita met Saif for the first time, she was so impressed with Saif that she sat by him and after that both had an affair. After the affair, both married and had two children. Amrita gave birth to Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan but after that Saif divorced Amrita in 2004.
Saif revealed the reason for divorce with Amrita in an interview. He told that Amrita had repeatedly abused her mother-sister and she used to show him her status as well as taunt him due to which he was tired. For this reason, he divorced her. After divorcing Amrita, Saif's name got associated with many models but in the end she married herself 10 years younger actress Kareena Kapoor. Now Saif and Kareena are also the parents of a child named Taimur Ali Khan who is called the most popular star kid of Bollywood. Saif is currently active in films and wishes him a very happy birthday.
