In a first, an Indian airline has appointed a woman as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Creating history in Indian aviation, Harpreet A De Singh earned the position of the CEO with Air India’s regional subsidiary Alliance Air. At present Singh holds the position of Executive Director (Flight Safety) at Air India. And now she will be replaced by Captain Nivedita Bhasin, Air India's senior most commanders flying Boeing 787 Dreamliner currently. On Friday, the air-carrier's CMD Rajiv Bansal issued an order saying “Harpreet A De Singh will hold the charge of Alliance Air CEO Post till further orders." At the same time, Capt.
