Chandigarh: A case of harassment of a woman has come to light after first claiming herself to be a Hindu and marrying fraudulently and later demanding dowry. The police have initiated further action by registering a case against six accused, including the husband of the in-laws, on the complaint of the victim woman. The victim woman has stated in the complaint that she was fraudulently married in 2013 to Sahil alias Mohammad Sharif. Because the boy, believing himself to be a Hindu, got married in Ropar court and lived in his house in Ropar.
