Former CM Omprakash Chautala tests corona infected

New Delhi: Former Haryana CM and Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) President Om Prakash Chautala was admitted to a private hospital in Gurgaon after falling ill on Wednesday. A party spokesperson has given information in this regard. The spokesperson said that 85-year-old Chautala had a cold and had recently attended the wedding ceremony of his grandson.

On giving information, the spokesman said, "Chaudhary Om Prakash Chautala has been admitted to Medanta Hospital in Gurgaon." Chautala also has a cough so he was tested for corona. The report has come out positive, though he does not have any specific symptoms of corona. It is noteworthy that the outbreak of coronavirus continues throughout the country. Corona has infected 95,33,471 people in India.

1,38,657 people have died due to the virus. However, it is a matter of relief that 89,70,104 have become healthy by defeating this virus. The number of people recovering from corona infection in the country is more than the number of active cases. The total number of active cases is 4,22,477.
