Class 11, 12 students across Haryana will soon get tablets: CM Khattar

Chandigarh: Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has stated that students in classes XI and XII will receive tablets. In addition, 15,000 tablets connections would be given to farmers soon, according to a meeting of the High Power Operations Committee held on Tuesday in Haryana Niwas.

The CM stated after the meeting that a total of 23 agendas were tabled in the high-level purchase committee meeting, out of which decisions about the roughly Rs 1,000 crore stake were made. Continuing, he stated that the government has chosen to purchase 5 lakh tablets, which would be distributed to students in the 11th and 12th grades beginning in the forthcoming academic session. Purchasing these tablets will cost Rs 560 crore in total. He also stated that the government will consider providing tablets to students in other classes in the future.

Farmers will soon receive 15,000 tablets connections, according to Chief Minister Manohar Lal. The meeting of the high power procurement committee is set to wrap up the process of buying power equipment worth Rs 350 crore. tablets can prevent the procurement of cables, transformers, and other connection-related equipment. Thousands of farms connected to the South Haryana Electricity Distribution Corporation and the North Haryana Electricity Distribution Corporation may also profit.
