BELAGAVI: B S Yeddyurappa, the Karnataka state president of Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) said prominent Congress leaders Mallikarjun Kharge and K H Muniyappa will lose in the Lok Sabha elections and BJP would take a big lead in Karnataka. On Saturday, while addressing party workers at Bailhonga, he said BJP will return to power in the center by winning more than 300 seats. Targeting the family of JD(S) supremo H D Deve Gowda, Yeddyurappa said the statements made by the former PM and his son Revanna had no value. “During the last election, he (Mr. Gowda) had said he would leave the country if Narendra Modi became prime minister but did not. Now, his son HD Revanna is speaking about quitting politics if Modi becomes PM again. Their words have no value,” Yeddyurappa said. Targeting the Congress president Rahul Gandi, he said the Congress leader was targeting Modi just to get publicity. “He is not aware of what he speaks.
