In the wake of rising corona cases across the country, Uttar Pradesh Health Minister Jai Pratap Singh said that due to the negligence of the people, the cases of covid have started increasing. The State Government is strict about this. He said that it is only through contact tracing that corona infection can be curbed.
On testing, the State Health Minister said that we have increased corona testing in the state to 1.87 lakh per day. The number of beds in the hospital has also been increased to 1.75 lakh. He said that the cases of Covid have also increased due to the migrant laborers who have come for Holi and decision cutting. The covid infection rate has increased which has led to a very rapid increase in covid cases. He said the rush in the block offices amid nominations for panchayat elections is also a major challenge in the covid crisis. Which has been reviewed with district magistrates and asked to comply with corona protocol.
Corona spreading in UP too: On the advice of the High Court to give the vaccine to all people of Uttar Pradesh, the Health Minister said that this is not possible. We should fix the age limit for vaccination only in view of the availability of vaccines. It is because of the negligence of the people that the infection of covid has increased. The Government is taking a tough stand on this. The covid virus continues to wreak havoc in UP. 6,023 new cases of covid have been reported in the state in the last 24 hours. So far, 8,964 patients have died due to covid in the state. Yesterday, 1,86,948 samples were tested in the state. In UP, 40 patients have died due to covid in the last 24 hours. Lucknow, the state capital, has reported the highest number of 1,333 new cases.
