SC gives instructions hearing on corona to appoint nodal officers in every state

New Delhi: During the hearing on the petition filed on the condition of Corona in the whole country, the top court has given many important guidelines. The court said that hospitals that have not taken fire NOCs should immediately take NOCs within four weeks. If not, the state government should take strict action against them. The Supreme Court has also directed the States and Union Territories to constitute committees to conduct a fire safety audit of all hospitals including corona care facilities every month.

With this, the court has asked all the states to appoint a nodal officer, who will submit the report from time to time to the state government from all angles of security and facilities. The court said that every state should appoint a nodal officer, who will be responsible for planning and following fire and other security measures in hospitals. The court has also said that the state will follow all standard procedure procedures ie SOP and guidelines.

At the same time, in view of the elections, the court said that it will be the responsibility of the Election Commission to follow the guidelines regarding electoral and political rallies in the states. The court has also asked the Central Government to make guidelines or rotational policy to give rest to the doctors on duty on continuous duty from the month of April in the corona period. On this, Solicitor General Tushar Mehta said that the Central Government will take a decision on this within two days.
