Here is what superstar Rajinikanth has said, after watching ' Mersal'

Vijay starrer 'Meresal' has got an outstanding response from the public the movies was a Diwali hit. Moreover, there were some BJP's members of Tamil Nadu state have demanded that "incorrect" references to Good and Services Tax should be deleted from the movie 'Mersal' which is a big-budget Tamil film 'Meresal'

Whereas, the south's superhero Rajinikanth has some different perception on the movie, the actor on Sunday praised the whole team of Vijay's Mersal by saying the film has addressed an "important issue." 

Not only this but the actor also took Twitter and wrote “Important topic addressed..... well done!!! congratulations team#mersal"

Mersal which was a Diwali release has kicked up a row with the BJP taking exception to references on GST in the movie. Apart from this, BJP leaders, including Raja, a national secretary of the party, state president Tamilisai Soundarajan and Union Minister Pon Radhakrishnan, have been demanding that the “incorrect” references be deleted from the big-budget flick.

The BJP had on October 20 objected to what it termed as “untruths” regarding the GST in just-released Mersal, and wanted dialogues on the central taxation to be deleted. Prior to this, actor Vishal had accused Raja of advocating privacy by watching the movie online, a charge later got rejected.
