Hero Motocorp has launched its new sports bike, the 2024 Hero Xtreme 160R 4V, in the Indian market. The company had launched the Hero Xtreme in 2023, which received a good response from the market. The new bike comes with a stylish look and new color combinations. Design and Features The design of the new Hero Xtreme 160R 4V remains largely unchanged, but it now comes in a new kevlar brown color, which looks attractive. The previous model's colors are also available. Additionally, some new features have been added to the bike. Powertrain The new Hero Xtreme 160R 4V is powered by a 163.2cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine that produces 16.6 bhp of power and 14.6 Nm of torque. It is mated to a 5-speed gearbox, which provides smooth transmission. Safety Features The new Hero Xtreme bike comes with dual-channel ABS and a panic brake alert feature. Additionally, a new drag race timer has been added, which will display sprint timing to riders. These features also help improve the bike's performance. Braking The bike comes with 17-inch wheels, USD forks at the front, and preload-adjustable mono-shock at the rear. Both wheels have single-disc brakes. Price The ex-showroom price of the new Hero Xtreme 160R 4V is ₹1.38 lakh, which is around ₹2,000 more than the previous model.
