New Delhi: Pakistan-backed terror outfits are on the lookout for major terror attacks in India. Pakistan-backed terror outfits like Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba are planning to attack temples to create communal tension in India. A high alert has been sounded in Jammu after receiving inputs from intelligence agencies in this regard. Sources said security has been beefed up in Jammu. Jammu is also known as the city of temples. There are hundreds of ancient temples including Raghunath Temple, Bave Lali Mata, and Raghunath temple has been attacked by terrorists in the past. Sources said terrorist outfits are likely to try to target temples in Jammu on the occasion of Independence Day on August 5 and August 15. Tell us that 5th August is the second anniversary of the abolition of Section 370 and terrorist organizations are looking to shock India on this day. Security officials said some recent incidents of drones dropping IEDs have indicated that Pakistan-backed terror outfits are planning to make a big splash at crowded places near temples in Jammu. A senior official of the North Block, the Defence Ministry, told the media that at least three previous attempts at a terror plot have been foiled in the recent past. Another official said the drone has been used to bring IEDs so that their terrorists in the Valley can install them and carry out the crime.
