HC orders CBI probe into Bengal violence! BJP says victims will now get justice

New Delhi: BJP IT CELL chief and Bengal co-in-charge Amit Malviya welcomed the court's order to CBI SIT and investigate violence in Bengal, saying he hoped the victims would get justice thereafter. Amit Malviya says elections were held in Bengal as well as four other states, but only Bengal was hit by elections as well as violence and rape of women after elections.

Millions of people were forced to leave Bengal because of these incidents. Amit Malviya says these were people who were supporters of the BJP, BJP workers, or voted for the BJP. At the same time, Amit Malviya termed the perpetrators as Trinamool Congress (TMC) people or their supporters, who had the support of the TMC as well as the police administration.

Amit Malviya alleged that the aggrieved women were pressurised not to lodge FIRs and withdraw those who lodged FIR. At the same time, the medical team was also pressured to make wrong reports. He says similar victims went to the Women's Commission, the Children's Commission, and the organization concerned and raised these issues and went to court. The court asked for a CBI and SIT inquiry which he hopes will lead to an impartial inquiry into the cases and justice to the victims.
