Tokyo: During the Second World War, America attacked a uranium bomb named 'Little Boy' on August 6, 1945 in Hiroshima, Japan. This bomb wreaked havoc in Hiroshima Nagar. The impact of its explosion is about 13 km. At that time, the total population of this Hiroshima was around 3.5 lakhs and this blast swallowed the lives of more than 1 lakh forty thousand people. A large number of children, old men and women were killed in this attack. Even after this attack, many people died due to the effects of radiation. This was the largest ever attack on Japan by any country. Not only this, the US continued its vandalism even after this and just three days after this attack, on August 9, a plutonium bomb named 'Fat Man' dropped on Nagasaki. In this second attack too, about 74 thousand innocent people of Japan were killed. Even after this, the US continued attacking Japan, after which Japan surrendered to the US on 14 August.
