The body of 21-year-old Vikas, a resident of Village Kakadod on the banks of Surbara Minor near Kumbha Kheda Marg from Village Hasangarh in Hisar district of Haryana, was found hanging from a tree under suspicious circumstances a day after his birthday. Police rushed to the spot after receiving information and rushed the body to the hospital for postmortem. The father of the deceased has expressed apprehension of murder. Police have registered a case under various sections including murder against the unidentified person and initiated action. The deceased Vikas was unmarried. The forensic team has also collected necessary evidence from the spot. Koel Singh, father of the deceased, a resident of village Kakadod, told police that Sunday was Vikas's birthday. It is learnt that Vikas had fallen asleep in the square near him at night. After which Koel Singh went to the farm around 5.30 am on Monday. It was found at around 11.30 pm that Vikas's body was found hanging from a tree when Koel Singh rushed to the spot with his family members. According to Koel Singh, the distance from Kakadod to village Hasangarh is about 15 kilometres. If his son had to hang himself, he could have hanged at home or in his farm. What was the need for him to come so far? Koel Singh says his son has been killed by unidentified men and hanged on a tree. Police have registered a case against the unidentified on the statement of the deceased's father. Police station in-charge Prahlad Rai said the police case is being investigated thoroughly.
