Lack of stretchers for patients, hospital's irresponsibility killed an infant

Panipat: Sajida, a resident of Raslapur was taken to the hospital of Panipat when she suffered from labor pain. Irresponsible hospital administrators failed to provide stretcher on time, which led her to deliver a child in the gallery. Reports say that an infant, during the birth fell on the floor and lost his life. 

Sajida was previously taken to the Community Health Care (CHC), from where she was referred to Panipat's civil hospital. Deceased reached hospital at 9.40PM. At 9.45 women suffered from increased labor pain, her relative Mahruna asked for a stretcher to many administrators, but no stretcher provided to the patient.

After 30 minutes of labor pain, while she was standing in the gallery, she gave a birth to the child, who fell on the floor. Mother and child then admitted to the delivery room, where the infant was declared dead.
