Bike manufacturer Kawasaki has launched its retro classic roadster Kawasaki W800 in India. The bike will rival RE Interceptor and Triumph Street Twin in India. The ex-showroom in India is priced at Rs 7.99 lakh. Delivery of this bike will begin in August. The company discontinued production of the bike in 2016 because the bike did not comply with the Global Euro 4 Emission Norms. The bike was launched in 2018. The bike features a single grind seat. Retro styled LED tail lamps give the bike a neet look. Let's know the full details The Kawasaki W800 comes with a 773cc, air-cooled, fuel-injected, SOHC engine. The engine produces 47.5hp at 6,500rpm and 62.9Nm of torque at 4,800rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. As per the information received, the company has come up with several retro-styled modern features in the bike. It features LED headlight, slipper clutch, and dual-channel ABS. In terms of braking, the front of the bike has a 320mm disc and a 270mm disc at the rear. The bike has an 18-inch weasel. The bike also features dual-channel ABS for rider safety. Only street variants have been launched in India. The company may soon launch a cafe variant. The Kawasaki W800 is available in two variants, Street and Cafe Racer in the international market. The Cafe Racer variant features a cowl and sporty seat around the headlight.
