Every year in India, everyone celebrates Nag Panchami, while in the whole world, a special day is dedicated to snakes. Every year on July 16, World Snake Day is celebrated. Many people are afraid of snakes, and many people show love for them. 16 July is celebrated as World Snake Day to make people aware of and protect the snakes.

Talking about India, snakes of 300 species are found here. Of which only 50 species are poisonous.

- Whenever a snake hunts, they swallow their prey and not chew it.

- Maximum age of snake is 25 years.

- The longest snake among venomous snakes is the King Cobra.

- Most snakes are found in Snake Island, Brazil. This is very large in number.

- In a study, it was found that there is a species of snakes that can lay eggs without a male snake.

-There are some snakes which have two mouths. The surprising thing is that sometimes both the mouths fight for food. Not only this, but they also have two minds and they maintain control of their body accordingly.

- A species of grass snake and spitting cobra is also very dramatic. It is said that when they see danger, they pretend to die. This causes their body to swell completely and they also release some fluids from the backside along with taking out the tongue.
