How to get rid of hard colours from your skin this Holi

Holi is around the corner. The most happening festival of India played with colours. But sometimes, those colours are so hard that it does not get rid of our skin. It can prove harmful to our skin and so we need to free our body skin of artificial colours.

So, here are some tips to scour the colours from your skin:

1. Drenching with cold

Avoid hot water while rinsing your face. It solidifies the colour. You must apply a cold cream on skin or you can go for coconut oil an hour before you play Holi. This will make it easy for you to rinse later.

2. Natural Remedies

Besan mixed with yoghurt or milk, sweet oil and rose water will assist you to clean your colour when applied on your skin for 5-10 minutes. Rinse it with cold water.

3. Post coconut oil magic

Even if you have not applied coconut oil prior playing Holi, you can see the magic of removing colour from your skin by applying it after. It works just like rubbing lemon wedges with oil and wheat flour mixture.

4. Not too much of water

Stop rinsing your face again and again to splash the colour. It will not work and your skin may get dry and irritated. You can use dry mango powder.

5. Multani Mitti really works

You can use a pack of Multani Matti along with an Ubtan. This works slowly but in a natural way. Rinse the pack, when it get dries, with cold water.
