Nowadays Triple Talaq cases are constantly coming to the fore. Though stringent laws have been enacted by the central government on triple talaq, these cases have not come down. Now, recently, a case has come up from Bhavanpur police station area. In this case, two brothers have divorced their wives, two sisters-in-law, in Mpther's house. According to reports, the aggrieved women have now sought action from the SSP in the case.
Anjum and Tabasum, two sisters-in-law from the Lisari Gate police station area, were married to Sartaj and his brother Faraz, a Jatav Gate resident of Brahmpuri, in 2016, and the women accused of "often demanding dowry" by their in-laws. Along with the beatings, the in-laws tried to murder the two sisters, leaving the current in the roof net several times. But when it failed, in 2017, the two sisters were thrown out of the house, including the twins of Tassum, who later reported that "in this case they had filed a case against their in-laws, which is under consideration in the court."
The victim's sisters now allege that "Sunday evening their husbands and in-laws came to their home and pressured them to withdraw the case." At the same time, he was told that his husbands no longer needed him because he had married another. "Now SSP Ajay Sahni has ordered an inquiry into the matter.
