Husband murdered wife on suspicion of illegitimate relationship, arrested

Gumla: Husband killed his wife on suspicion of having an undeniable relationship in Narsinghpur Ambatoli village under Kamdara police station area of Gumla district of Jharkhand. This incident occurred late Wednesday night. The wife attacked her with a knife, killed her, and came and fell asleep. When the police got information about the incident on Thursday, they questioned the accused. During this time, the accused husband agreed to the murder. The accused husband had earlier returned home from jail after being released on bail in a murder case four months ago.

The couple has four children. The deceased has been identified as 40-year-old Hungary Barla. Accused husband Bago Barla was inebriated late Wednesday evening and was returning home with his wife from somewhere. During this time, a quarrel started between husband and wife over something. Meanwhile, husband Bago attacked his wife with a knife and killed her.

During an interrogation with the police, the accused stated that his wife had an illicit relationship. She met the person even after refusing. Therefore, the wife was stabbed to death. At the same time, the police recovered the knife and blood-stained clothes used in the incident. Kamdara has arrested the accused and brought them to the police station. Bago Barla, an accused in the village Narsinghpur Ambatoli, returned home from jail on bail for about four months in the Sanika Barla murder case. According to the police, he also has a prior criminal history.
