Hyderabad International Airport has launched an on-site corona virus testing lab

On Monday, GMR Hyderabad International Airport Limited (Jihal) launched an on-site coronavirus test ing laboratory at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA). This facility ensures safe travel to all passengers entering the city, scheduled for domestic connected flights or international departure passengers. As per the government order, international passengers should have a negative report of their RT-FICR held within 96 hours before leaving their country.

This report should be provided to the state government officials appointed at the airport to avoid institutional detention. However, as RT-FICR test ing facility is available at RGII, now passengers can test themselves even after landing in Hyderabad. As per the rules, all international passengers who have incoming connections should have a negative RT-FICR test certificate within 96 hours of departure or port of origin or test after arriving at the RGIA to avoid institutional compulsion.
