Air service resumes for Dubai, flights will operate three days a week

Hyderabad: Flights to Dubai have resumed from Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Hyderabad. In view of the infection of the Coronavirus, air service was suspended for the last several months. Earlier it was announced to start flights to Britain. Under the Bubbles connectivity run by the government, it was announced to start flights to other countries on 10 September.

After the Corona pandemic guidelines and Unlock 4 started, there are signs of recovery in the Aviation industry. On Thursday, the first flight from Dubai reached Hyderabad with passengers. This flight of Emirates EK 526 was in Boeing 777-300 ER category. Its landing took place at Hyderabad International Airport at 8.25 am, while the flight took off from Dubai for passengers from Hyderabad at 10 am.

Airport officials said Emirates Airlines, a UAE company, would operate three flights every week. These flights will run on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. GMR Hyderabad International Airport said in a statement that according to the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, any passenger can book a flight ticket from Hyderabad to Dubai. All passengers must strictly follow the guidelines related to Corona pandemic issued by the Government and the Health Ministry.
