Hyundai quietly launches i20 Active model, Know attractive features!

Hyundai Motor India has quietly launched its i20 Active for 2019 model. The company has listed the 2019 Hyundai i20 Active on the website and launched it in three variants - S, SX and SX dual-tone. It is available with both petrol and diesel engines. Compared to the old variants, its prices have also seen an increase of up to Rs 2000.

This model has now come with a new safety system i.e. now it has given many standard features like reverse parking sensors, reverse camera, speed alert system, driver and passenger seatbelt reminder and the company has priced it at Rs. 7.74 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Talking about its design, the 2019 Hyundai i20 Active looks similar in design and features as loaded with projector lens headlamps with LED DRLs and cornering lamps, fog lamps, LED taillights, shark-fin antennas, rugged plastic body cladding and diamond- There are cut alloy wheels, which come in its top variants. Apart from this, there are Fox skid plates in the front of the car and roof rails on the rear bumpers. Talking about the interior, the Hyundai i20 Active has the same layout as that found in the older model. However, it has a funky finish on the air vent bezels.

Based on the top variants, this car features Apple CarPlay with Android 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system and Android Auto, push-button start, keyless entry, auto climate control, rear AC vents, wireless charging and many more features. 2019 Hyundai i20 Active has a 1.2-liter petrol engine, which generates 82 bhp power and 115 Nm torque and this engine is equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission. The diesel version has a 1.4-liter engine, which produces 89bhp power and 220 Nm torque. This engine is equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission. The diesel version is available in top-range SX trim hatchback-crossover.
