I don't want to play the fat best friend, said actress Barbie Ferreira,

Barbie Ferreira, who portrayed Kat Hernandez in the popular HBO series Euphoria, recently talked openly about leaving the project. Barbie announced her departure from the Sam Levinson program in June of last year, for the uninitiated. After a disagreement with Levison over the course that her character Kat was taking, there were soon rumors that the actress had decided to leave the series. According to rumors, Kat's character was diminished in season 2. In one of these rumors, Barbie was even said to have left the scene after an alleged argument with Sam Levinson. She has now addressed the rumors.

The actor, who portrayed the central character's best friend, apparently had disagreements with Sam Levinson during Season 2. After examining how the character's narrative and storyline would play out in the series, She went on to refer to it as a "mutual decision." She added that she no longer wished to play the role of the "fat best friend." Ferreira remarked, "I think there were places she could have gone. I just don’t think it would have fit into the show. I don’t know if it was going to do her justice, and I think both parties knew that. I really wanted to be able to not be the fat best friend. I don’t want to play that, and I think they didn’t want that either.” Also, there were rumorthat Barbie Ferreira left the Euphoria filming locations. She clarified the rumour by adding, “I did not walk off-set. I did sprain my ankle once and had to go get an X-ray. Maybe that’s what they mean?”
