I have rugby player friend that have been reduced to tears. It's sad, but it's beautiful: Emilia Clarke

In an interview clarke  who plays Daenerys Targaryen in the hit drama, shared that some of her macho rugby player friends were left in tears when the beloved character was brought back to life.

The 29-year-old said: "It's silly but I was so excited. I have rugby player friend that have been reduced to tears. It's sad, but it's beautiful and it was a special thing."

She added: "The response from the viewers has been really overwhelming." Snow was resurrected by Melisandre on the second episode of season six of "Game of Thrones", a revelation that caps 10 months of worldwide speculation following Snow's death at the hands of his Night's Watch brothers in last year's finale.

Clarke also admitted that she is finding the suspense of the new series intense. "I had to keep putting the script down and picking it back up because it was too much," she said.
