I relate to Pakistan more than Tamil Nadu: Navjot Singh Sidhu

Punjab Minister and former cricketer Navjot Singh Sidhu on Friday gave another controversial statement while speaking at a literature festival in Kasauli. While discussing the similarity in culture of India and Pakistan he has said that he relate to Pakistan more than Tamil Nadu.

Addresing to the literature fest, Sidhu speak about the how Pakistan is similar to India. He said that  When I go to Tamil Nadu, I don't understand the language. There are just one or two words I understand. Not that I don't like the food, but I cannot have it for a long time. The former cricketer further added that The culture is totally different. But if I go to Pakistan, they speak Punjabi and English and I can relate to them more.

Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) spokesman Daljit Singh Cheema said that Sidhu should be careful about his words as being a cabinet minister. Chima said, "There is no harm in praising others, but no one should show their country down.  Cheema also added that Sidhu’s statement is creating unnecessary controversynd he never said anything objectionable.

Recently, Sidhu visited Pakistan and Hugged its army chief and this act has created a lot of controversies.
