I will slap a person who calls me an item: Malaika Arora on item song terminology

The hot diva Malaika Arora, is  known her killing dance moves and  fitness . She has featured in many tracks, and later, she got the tag of 'Item girl', and in one of the interviews, she expressed her views on the term and about the 'item songs'.In an interview with Anupama Chopra, in which she opened up on a lot of topics including item songs and what is its place in today's world.

Malaika said how she did such songs on her own accord and never did it under any duress. She added how she was always comfortable and voiced her opinion if she felt if anything was not okay or if she felt she was being objectified.

Sher  also said how she always had a problem with the terminology and that she would slap a person if they uttered the same in front of her.

Malaika went on and affirmed that her 'item songs' were tongue and cheek fun tracks which were downright vulgar. The diva further added how things have changed and how makers have stopped adding them. Arora also asserted that she won't say to stop it or completely get rid of it. And finally added how the songs give a unique factor to films.
