This player is afraid of not starting training

Medal contender Mirabai Chanu in Tokyo Olympics felt pain in front of Sports Minister Kiran Rijiju on Monday. Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju has started a series of talks with the players trapped in NIS Patiala and Bangalore to start preparations from Monday. There were nine weightlifters in front of the Sports Minister, Sports Secretary, Sai Director General.

According to the reports, during an online conversation with the Sports Minister, he said that missing a week's training means lagging behind the preparations for the Olympics for a month. Apart from Meera, all the nine weightlifters, including the Indian Weightlifting Association, Jeremy Lalrinunaga, asked to start preparations soon. The Sports Minister has assured the lifters that the committee has started making guidelines.

Sahadev Yadav, general secretary of the Sangh preparatory to the lifters of China and North Korea , said that Meera has three ranking among the lifters who have qualified for the Olympics. Above Meera are lifters from China and North Korea. These countries are busy in hard preparations. If the lifters do not train, then their muscles start to weaken. In such a situation, it is very important to start training for weightlifters. The lifters are already in the camp before lockdown.
