IIIT Hyderabad to Offer Master of Science in IT on-Campus & Online Modes from Aug 22

HYDERABAD:  International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad (IIITH Hyderabad) announces admissions into Master of Science in Information Technology (MSIT) from August 2022.

The MSIT programme is part of multi-university cooperation based at IIIT Hyderabad that was founded in 2001 under the banner of CIHL, the Consortium of Institutions of Higher Learning.

Characteristics: At the IIIT Hyderabad campus, the MSIT programme will be offered in two formats: online and on-campus.  In addition to traditional group learning in small classroom-sized batches, the software will provide one-on-one personalised mentorship.

MSIT implements variable duration learning, which replaces the 'time-constant-outcome-variable' paradigm with the 'time-variable-outcome-constant' paradigm. That is, before moving on to the following subject, each student must receive an A. Self-Paced Instruction: Personalized mentorship allows students to work at their own pace until they achieve mastery in each subject by scoring 90 percent or above.

Personalized Exam on Demand: When a student is ready, they can request a personalised exam. Three semesters of classroom will be followed by one semester of industrial practise.

The online MSIT programme costs INR 2 lakhs, whereas the on-campus MSIT programme costs INR 3 lakhs. In addition, students who enrol in the On-Campus programme must pay IIIT Hyderabad's housing and mess fees.
