Hyderabad: Cases of corona infection are on the rise in the country daily, with cases of corona infection surging steadily in Telangana as well. A large number of students in schools, colleges are suffering from corona. In the last 4-5 days, 112 students of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Hyderabad have been diagnosed with corona infection. All these students have been quarantined.
All these students have taken both doses of corona vaccine. IIT Hyderabad authorities have informed in this regard. In the last few days, 130 corona patients have been found in the office of the Director General of Police. However, the figure has crossed 40 in the Hyderabad Police Commissioner's office. Hospitals in Telangana are also badly affected by corona. Five doctors and 15 other employees have been affected by corona at Sarkar Hospital in Ramakrishnapur in Manchereal district.
Meanwhile, 11 people who returned to Kamareddy from Sabarimala have also been found to have corona. Health officials have issued a warning saying more cases will be reported in the state this month. At the same time people have been urged to follow covid compliant behavior. The recovery rate in the state fell to 96.80 a few weeks ago. The active cases here have gone up to 18,339.
