Jaipur: While people have been relieved of the rise in temperature in the past few days in most parts of Rajasthan, the Met department (IMD) says the temperature may drop by two to four degrees in the coming two days and severe cold conditions. The department has issued an alert on cold waves and fog in several districts on Saturday. Jaipur Meteorological Center Director R S Sharma said that the partial impact of the low-intensity Western disturbance is currently recording a maximum temperature of two to four degrees Celsius above the average at most places in the state. He further said, but once again, the impact of northern winds coming from the Himalayas is likely to reduce the minimum and maximum temperature by two to four degrees Celsius in the next one to two days. The minimum temperature is likely to be recorded between 3 to 4°c during 25th, 26th, 27th January in the districts of Shadhakhavatai division of northern Rajasthan. The department has issued an alert for cold and cold waves in Jhunjhunu, Sikar, Ajmer, Bhilwara, Bikaner, Ganganagar, Hanumangarh, Churu, and Nagaur districts during the next 24 to 48 hours. In addition to these districts, a dense fog alert has been issued in Jaipur, Tonk, Dausa, Alwar, Bharatpur, Dholpur, Karauli, Sawai Madhopur, and Jodhpur districts.
