THE HAGUE: Giacomo Raspadori netted twice as Napoli came from behind to deliver a master-class and score a runaway 6-1 win at 10-man Ajax Amsterdam in the Champions League on Tuesday. Ajax suffered their greatest defeat in European football history on Tuesday night when they lost 6-1 to an excellent Napoli. Italian Serie A leaders Napoli arrived in Amsterdam with great expectations and met them, winning both of their games in Group A. Mohammed Kudus' early Ajax goal gave the visitors the lead, but Napoli quickly grabbed control and outperformed them. Giacomo Raspadori scored the equaliser, Giovanni Di Lorenzo put Napoli ahead, and Piotr Zielinski made it 3-1 for Napoli with a free-kick goal just before halftime. Ajax was undoubtedly defeated when Raspadori scored his second goal shortly after halftime thanks to an error by Ajax goalkeeper Remko Pasveer. Dusan Tadic, the captain of Ajax, was given his second caution after Khvicha Kvaratskhelia made it 5-1, and substitute Giovanni Simeone increased the score to 6-1.
