Imraan Tahir, the South African leg-spinner of IPL franchise CSK, has extended the captaincy of the team, saying that Dhoni is a person connected to the ground. Tahir told that he had seen Dhoni on TV but never had the opportunity to meet him in private. He also said that he met Dhoni in the middle of IPL in 2016 when he was playing for Pune. He has shared his experience. Recalling his first meeting with Dhoni, he has also told that the Pune captain broke the distance between us and told that I can visit his room at any time. Tahir says that he and fellow Chennai players like to spend time in Dhoni's room. Tahir also said that I had seen Dhoni on TV but never met in private. My first meeting with him was when I was elected to Pune. I was a little restless, I could not understand how to express my thoughts but I was very happy. He also said, "I was standing outside my room and Dhoni came there to go to his room and he told me that this is my room Imran bhai and you can come here anytime". Tahir says that it is a very big thing for me to hear this word from the mouth of a well-known player like Dhoni. He is very good. I thought that if you are offering me to come to your room, then I will definitely come.
