In another blow to the opposition in the presidential election, Mayawati has made a big announcement

Lucknow: TheBharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) has fielded Draupadi Murmu as its candidate in the National Elections. The BJP's tribal card has also left opposition parties confused on the issue of support in the presidential election. Tribal leader Draupadi Murmu, who hails from Odisha, has demolished opposition unity.

Now, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo and former Uttar Pradesh CM Mayawati has announced her support to Draupadi Murmu. In UTTAR Pradesh's capital Lucknow, BSP supremo Mayawati has announced that we have decided to support NDA candidate Draupadi Murmu in the presidential election. Mayawati also responded to questions that could be raised about the nda candidate's support. "We have taken this decision neither in favour of BJP, NDA nor against opposition. Mayawati has also made it clear that we have taken this decision keeping in mind our party and the movement.

Let me tell you that the BSP is a political party stemming from the Dalit movement. The main vote bank of the party is also Dalits. NDA candidate Draupadi Murmu belongs to the tribal community. In such a situation, the BSP was also in the process of supporting Draupadi Murmu to support yashwant sinha, the candidate of the opposition parties. After a long brainstorming, BSP supremo Mayawati finally announced that we have decided to support Draupadi Murmu keeping in mind our party and movement. On the other hand, Mayawati's announcement is being seen as the beginning of the NDA candidate's decision to make a dent in the opposition camp.
