Maruti Suzuki made a new record in BS6 vehicles amid the recession

While looking at last month's sales record, the auto sector saw a downturn but Maruti Suzuki has made a new record. Maruti Suzuki India has sold more than 2 lakh BS6 vehicles. The company set this record of sales in only six months of the launch of BS6 vehicles. Maruti Suzuki launched the Alto 800 and Baleno in the BS6 range in April this year. From April next year, only BS6 vehicles will be sold in the country, but Maruti Suzuki has made this record by starting selling BS6 vehicles a year ago.

It is worth noting that many companies in the meantime launched offers for sales growth and this time Maruti Suzuki has Alto 800, Baleno, WagonR (1.2L), Swift, Dzire, Ertiga and recently launched XL6 And include cars like the S-Preso that come with BS6 engine. Speaking on the occasion, Kenichi Ayukawa, Managing Director and CEO of Maruti Suzuki India Limited said, “We thank the customers who have opted for our BS6 range of vehicles. We are happy to introduce eight BS6 compliant petrol vehicles in the mass segment ahead of schedule.

Talking about the same vehicles, there will be a drastic reduction of about 25% in nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions from BS6 petrol vehicles. BS6 petrol vehicles can also run on BS4 petrol. Maruti Suzuki's BS6 petrol cars have been extensively tested with BS4 fuel and had no problems.
