Patna: Airtel has finally started offering its 5G service in Patna. The high-speed network is being implemented in phases by the telecom company, and will eventually cover the entire city. Users of the Airtel 5G Plus network will experience speeds up to 20-30 times faster than the current 4G network, and they can use it for free till the 5G tariff plans are launched. By March 2023, Bharti Airtel plans to launch its fifth-generation services across major cities in the country, making it its fastest rollout ever. Bailey Road, City Center Mall, Patna Sahib Gurudwara, Dak Bungalow, Maurya Lok, Boring Road, Patliputra Industrial Area, Patna Railway Station and Jai Prakash Narayan International Airport in Patna are now offering Airtel 5G Plus service. Talking about other cities, Airtel now offers its 5G service in Delhi, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru, Siliguri, Guwahati, Nagpur, Panipat, Pune, Varanasi and Gurugram. Within 30 days of its commercial launch, the company said earlier this month that it had surpassed the one million unique 5G user mark. According to Anupam Arora, CEO, Bharti Airtel – Bihar, Jharkhand and Odisha, Airtel customers can now experience ultrafast network and enjoy speeds that are 20-30 times faster than existing 4G speeds.
