Indore: The Income Tax officials on Sunday morning conducted raids at the properties of Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath's nephew Ratul Puri and Officer on Special Duty (OSD) in Indore and close aide in Delhi. According to the report, The team of 15 members official of I-T sleuths started the raid at the residence and official premises of Nath's OSD Praveen Kakkar in Indore at 3 am in the morning in connection with alleged tax evasion case, as per media reports.The raid is also underway at the residence of RK Miglani, a close aide of Madhya Pradesh CM in Delhi's Green Park. Few days ago, the raids were conducted at Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leaders in Andhra Pradesh. Condemning the raids, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu warned the I-T officials of "serious consequences". He also staged a sit-in protest, alleging that the raids were being conducted at the behest of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
