Weather forecast: Increasing intensity of cold wave in Delhi, rain also caused hail

New Delhi: In many parts of Delhi-NCR, a hailstorm also fell on Wednesday morning with rain. In fact, many states including Delhi, UP, Haryana, Punjab, and Uttarakhand have been receiving rains for the past few days. Due to which the cold winds have increased and the chill has increased manifold. On the other hand, snowfall continues in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu, and Kashmir, and many parts of Uttarakhand. During this time, the India Meteorological Department has released the forecast of rain in many cities of some states including Delhi-NCR on Wednesday.

The bulletin issued by IMD states that on Wednesday, Delhi, Gohana, Gannaur, Colonel, Panipat, Faridabad, Ballabgarh (Haryana), Dadri, Gulethi, Pilkhua, Hapur, Shamli, Sambhal, Amroha, Moradabad (U.P. ) Meem, Gohana, Gannore, Karnal, Panipat, Palwal, Charkhadari, Faridabad, Ballabhgarh, Rohtak (Haryana), Greater Noida, Noida, Dadri, Secunderabad, Gulothi, Pilkhua, Hapur, Muzaffarnagar, Bijnor including some cities of UP and Haryana Chance of rain has been expressed.

It has been learned that snowfall occurred in the hilly areas of North India and rain in the plains, while due to the closure of the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway and Mughal Road due to the freezing of snow, Kashmir continued for the second consecutive day in the country remained cut off from the rest. The IMD said that for the third consecutive day in the national capital on Tuesday, rainfall was recorded at some places and recorded 13.2 degrees Celsius, 6 degrees above the minimum normal. Safdarjung Observatory recorded 39.9 mm of rainfall between 8:30 am on Saturday and 2.30 pm on Sunday.
