AHMEDABAD: A series of criticisms regarding the pitch of Ahmedabad for the day-night Test played between India and England is still going on. Now former England spinner Monty Panesar has given his reaction on the pitch. Panesar said that if the host team prepares a similar track in the fourth Test match starting on March 4 in Ahmedabad, then the ICC should withdraw some points of the World Test Championship from India. The Test match started with pink ball on 24 February ended in just two days, when the England team was stacked in front of the spinners twice. India won the third Test and took a 2–1 lead in the series. Many senior players of the England team have criticized the pitch. Many former cricketers have argued that on such a pitch in the next match, the points of Team India's World Test Championship will be reduced. Talking to the media, Panesar has said that ICC may not adopt it, but if it is repeated in the next Test match, then India should be punished. Panesar said this to a famous website "I think if the next Test match is the same, then yes, the ICC should dock points. Everyone is delighted that cricket has now got the biggest stadium in the world now. At least the curator should have produced a good wicket, even if it’s a turning wicket, everyone was complaining about Chennai, this was even worse" Also Read: MP: Woman sleeping with daughter in her lap murdered, police engaged in investigation PM Modi greets Bihar CM Nitish Kumar on 70th birthday Jodhpur medical college student hanged, suicide note found
