India beat Palestine in AFC U-16 Qualifiers

In the  AFC U-16 Championship 2018 Qualifiers at the Halchowk Stadium in Kathmandu, the  Indian U-16 football team thrashed  Palestine by 3-0. Indian team scored three goals in the second half to beat  Palestine.

Givson scored the opening goal in the 51st minute, Bekey in the 72nd minute and  Vikram in the 79th minute.In the 25th minute, Givson, who was operating as a free-player at the middle, cut into from the middle but his cutting-edge could have dealt better by Ricky.

India came very close to breaking the deadlock early on itself when in the eighth minute Oram's shot whizzed just wide of the goal.

India U-16 Team: 

Lalbiakhlua Jongte (GK), Harpreet Singh, Shabas Ahammed Moothedath, Gurkirat Singh, Samir Kerketta, Lalchhanhima Sailo, Ricky John Shabong, Givson Singh Moirangthem (51'), Bekey Oram (72') (Harpreet 82'), Ravi Bahadur Rana.

On September 22, India U-16 Team is scheduled to play against Nepal at the same venue.
